Job Description


  • Collaborate with other software engineers and research scientists to develop and maintain a on-board and off-board autonomous driving code base.
  • Ability to understand, support, and work within a large multi-team project focused on developing new mobility technologies.
  • Scope and design new features to meet the needs of clients inside and outside of TRI.
  • Understand and fulfill the software practices that produce maintainable code, including automated testing, continuous integration, and code review.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.1+ years of experience in a related position.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player
  • Strong C++ software development skills.
  • Understanding of GPU programming is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of common software performance issues and tradeoffs.
  • Basic knowledge of linear algebra, 3D geometry and differential equations.
  • Experience with advanced driver assistance systems highly regarded.
  • Experience with 3D graphics and/or computer vision would be highly regarded.
  • Experience with robotics and/or control systems would be highly regarded.
